Intermodal Sales Manager
An Experienced Intermodal Business Development Manager is a seasoned professional responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for intermodal transportation services, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients. The primary duties of this role include:
• Identifying new business opportunities for intermodal transportation services through market research, networking, and industry events.
• Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
• Communicating with internal teams, such as Operations and Customer Service, to ensure intermodal transportation solutions are meeting client needs.
• Negotiating rates and contracts with clients and carriers.
• Developing sales and marketing strategies to promote intermodal transportation services.
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in intermodal transportation sales or business development, as well as a strong understanding of intermodal transportation and logistics. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as a proven track record of developing and maintaining successful business relationships and achieving sales targets. The candidate should also have a deep understanding of the intermodal market and the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities.
